Reference is made to the painting Dragon in the Clouds, created by the most prominent Japanese master of ink painting Sesshū Tōyō from the middle Muromachi period. Sesshū Tōyō became a monk at his age of 12. He pursued his study in China and devoted himself to exploring the essence of ink painting and Buddhism.
